Research interests
German Exile Literature from 1933-1945, with a special focus on India as a place of exile; Representations of India in post war novels and shorter prose, the emergence of migrant writing and questions of history and memory; the praxis of German Language Teaching, translation and its theories as a vibrant space to facilitate intercultural transfer.
