The list of those provisionally selected for admission will be displayed on the Notice Board & put up on the department website, and they will be required to deposit the fees by the requisite date.

Important Notification for students seeking admission under direct category in PG Courses in French, German, Spanish, Italian-2015:

At the time of admission, the applicants shall be required to produce the following documents in original with  one  set  of  self-attested photocopies:

• Class X Board Examination Certificate
• Class XII Marks-sheet
• Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
• Character Certificate (recent)
• SC/ST Certificate (in the name of the candidate) - For SC/ST candidates
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the candidate) - For OBC candidates
• Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University are required from those students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
• One passport size self-attested photograph.

If a candidate fails to deposit the fees by the stipulated date, he/she will forfeit his/her claim for admission. Admission shall be subject to confirmation by the Admission Committee of the Department.

Entrance Tests

Candidates will have to take an Entrance Test on the specified dates for admission to the following courses:

M.A. Interviews: 12 July 2016 from 10:00 a.m. onwards

M.Phil Interviews: 14 July 2016 from 10:00 a.m. onwards

Sale and submission of forms for registration in the Portuguese languase courses will be held on the following dates from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm:

 Certificate in Portuguese (Part-time)                     27th June 2016

Intensive Advanced Diploma Course (Full-time)       27th June 2016

 Last date                                                           9th July 2016

Reservation

• 22.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates (15% & 7.5% respectively). Relaxation up to 5% in the minimum marks will be given to such candidates to determine eligibility and merit for admission subject to production of required certificates.
• 27% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC). Details of relaxation criteria.
• 3% seats are reserved for physically challenged candidates for admission to under-graduate courses.
• 5% seats are reserved for children/widows/wives of officers and men of the Armed forces including Para-Military Personnel killed or disabled in action.

FEES

Note:

1. Students will be required to pay the fees at the time of final selection to the course. The names of students who fail to remit the fees in time will be deleted from the rolls.
   
   
2. Students of Certificate / Diploma / Advanced Diploma who are pursuing some other regular course of study in this University or its colleges will be given 1/3rd concession in tuition fee on production of a bonafide certificate from the institution concerned at the time of payment of fees. Teachers of the University or its colleges are also entitled to the above concession on production of an authentic proof.
   
   
3. In addition to the above, students will be required to pay the examination fee as and when notified.
